Senior Flex Club
Distance and accuracy with different flex shafts using iron baron and 9 degree loft head?
If you were to set up the iron baron machine to 95mph hour swing speed using a 9 degree lonf club head and a senior shat a regular shaft and a stiff shaft what will the results be and why? Also is this information available from a shaft company and were would you obtaion it? Thanks for4 your help Jack
The Net effect due to pure geometry would be that the Senior flex would be off line and approx 10-30 yds shorter than the Regular flex.....the same conditions would be approximately true for the differential for the Regular flex to the Stiff flex. 95 MPH is to fast a swing speed for the Senior flex and only at the very high end if not beyond the capability of the regular flex. This is all based on certain paramenters and may change somewhat from one MFG to another or variation in the particular shafts attributed to a specific Manufacturer.
Most manufacturer's do not post results from testing on a Mechanical test device like the Iron Byron......However if a club mfg has good data from this form of testing they are almost irrevocably going to let the public know about it.
